4th Day......Juno Alaska

Taking a little time to shop the downtown stores. Off to our Adventure with the Zip Line.

Biggest smile of the day. I made it down to the solid ground.

Can you believe this......Catherine is repelling down off the platform... The only way down.

Catherine did not want to do this....She was a good sport. When it was all done. She had so much fun that she said she would like to do it again. Edie was planning the Brent on how they

could build one at home.

Smiles were coming as she got closer to the platform.

Notice the anxious look on this swinging bridge. The guide pushed off against a tree to get us rocking.

And off Catherine goes.........Where the end is she is not sure.

Josh was so at ease that he was taking a video while on the move.

Steve had it down pretty good right off the bat.

Diane wasn't sure on the stopping part.

Notice the thumbs up from the guide. Kim was having quite the adventure.

Some of the runs were longer than others.... Totally Awosome!!!

Love the hard hats. Actually for most of us, they were nice because our heads would rub on the cable.

Edie......get straight with the cable. Don't want to be looking back at the group.

All smile and ready to roll!!

Two deep breaths and off we go.

Walking up to the place where the landings started. Nervous and a little under protest I think.

Plenty to keep us hooked up. Not to worry dear.

Beautiful little town. Kind of small for the Capital of Alaska.

Forgot 2nd Day

The days at sea were just as much fun. Tradition says that we walk. The average person gains 7-14lbs on a cruise. Not us.......The boat was 905 feet long. 4 laps = 1.4 miles. We would walk at least 8 laps a day. Sometime more just because it was so much fun. We were able to see the scenery on both sides during travel. So many choices of where to eat on the boat.. It was hard to choose.

3rd Day....Ketchikan, AK

Catherine and Edie decided that they wanted to go see totem poles (to her that is what she thinks of when talking of Alaska. They had a great time

Along with the day, they went to a Lumber Jack show and competition. Looks like fun.....I never

met a tool that I didn't like. Just bought a new

chainsaw for Brady to use while in Utah. Maybe I

should have bought a tubo like they had.

Small town, but lots going on.....Especially when

10,000 people show up from Cuise Lines.

I think there were like 76 Jewelry Shops long main street. All open a 7 am when we got off the ship. Diane and Kim stayed in town and shopped for BLING......Bling they got.

The guys......went for the fish. We had a great time but didn't catch like I did the last time up. Maybe it is because I fished for a week and this was a couple of hours only.

Boat name was "TONZA FUN"

Day 1 of our Alaskan Adventure

Once you get on the plane you really know your on your way. How much more fun could it get. The Behlings had at least a different coat for every day. I was jealous. Need to go shopping

In 1962 my Dad offered the family a trip to the Worlds Fair in Seattle or to spend the money and buy a used boat and stay home. We picked the boat. The family was forever

changed for the good. Catherine's family went that same

year.

Dinner in the Space Needle. It rotated 360 degrees every 42 minutes. Diane got us reservations. We

saw the view in the Sun, Sunset and Evening Lights.

Good Job Diane.

Probably the most expensive Dinner ever..... the experience.....Priceless.... This one is for you Dad. Thanks for the

memories.

Free Breakfast the next morning before we got on the Boat. .....Good thing.

Best traveling partner ever.....Love this Job.

Load...N.....Go.

New Project

Our Little piece of heaven is in for a face lift. A contractor made a measurement error and I was able to get a steele of a deal on the mistake. Said I was going out to unload the trusses and the next thing I knew.....I had other willing to go along and help........Thanks a bunch Now.....How do we get these things off the trailer?

I just watched and enjoyed the company.

We got done soooo fast that we were a little sad. Wished the travel trailers were out so we could spend the night. Next couple of trips though. We are having the Curtis Steele family reunion here shortly and are going have a great time. Pictures will
