Thought the Weddings Were Over? Not Yet

We had to dress up and pretend weddings. Grandpa was the Photographer. We'll Let you guess which one was Liesel and which one was Jessica. Even have to go to Mom's drawer to get the Proper Dress What is a wedding without pictures outside the Temple in the Flowers. Amazing what registers with these kids. ENJOY THE JOURNEY!!!! Conference Means.........Cabin

The Cabin Project is Done at least for the Season. Hopefully we will start the additions next year. Glad to have those that could join us. Always need a good walk after soooo much good food. Thanks Mom

Much needed Rest

All Married

Marriage is like getting your feet wet Maybe Cameron has something else in mind? The start of a wonderful Journey!! It has been an awesome summer. We could not be happier. Not lots of play.......... but very rewarding. Lots of fun projects with the kids. and three new wonderful additions to our family. Can't hardly wait to get our family picture updated again. Here are some Pictures of Cameron and Jessica.

CABIN PROJECT CONTINUES

Now that we get to keep the cabin. We are giving it a much needed stain job. The plan is to tear off the siding next spring and start the remodel project. We are going to add on to both ends of the cabin and make it three times bigger than present. The outside will end up with log siding (we think). Sometimes things don't always go as planned so we decided to go ahead and give the cabin a facelift anyway.

THE PROJECT CONTINUES

This is from the Pour Last night. We poured another 7-8 yards. It went pretty good. We sure love having the necessary tools to complete the process. We love saving the labor (so to speak) and saying that they help pay for the tools.

FIRST TIME EVER!!!!

In just a few short weeks. I will have ALL of my family in the Temple for the First Time

Slacker

I have been criticized for the last little while from the kids because I have not posted anything on the blog for sometime. Sorry Kids... Things have been going on but nothing to blog about. We have been working on the Cabin somewhat. I came really close to selling the cabin. Had given my word that I would sell it. Got sellers remorse before I even had done the sale. It worked out that I the buyer sort of changed their minds and let me off the hook. Close call. Not going to do that again. If I let the cabin go again, it will only be when I am ready to start or buy the other cabin to replace it. Just toooooo manyyyyyyy memories. Jacob is working on a project at his house. Says that he would not have started it if Dad didn't have so many tools. I have to agree that it sure makes it easier and much more fun. Have a stack of my own sitting in the driveway just waiting for the new tool to arrive. It just did so I will be starting shortly. Here are some Pics of what has been transpiring.

Annual Fence Day

Each year before the cows go out to 9 mile we have an outing to fix fence. It is suppose to be work but we always seem to have more fun than work. We usually go out for Memorial Day. This year there was still 6' drifts and the weather was sooo bad we went to the cabin in Scofield. Seemed to still find snow as per our Blog. We spent the 4th and the 5th working the fence and cleaning up weeds. We moved our camp to a new place across the creek in the Theadore Meadow. It is going to be a great place to get established for the George Conover Family. We started what I am sure will be just the beginning of a zip line. The Further we go up the mountain side the longer and better it will get. We cleaned up lots of Weeds and Brush. The boys thought the answer to get rid of them was to burn. NEEDLESS TO SAY ........WE LOVE THE PLACE!!!

Amy and Peter Just had their week on the houseboat. We love it when they inlcude us in the fun. We had the closest thing to a family reunion in a long time. We were just missing Brady (always on the go) and Cameron (our newest soon to be addition that we love so much). We have a new camera that is so much fun. We probably took 500 pictures during the event. I tried to pick some of the best and leave some for the others to post. Hard task to say the least. They all say something special.
