Now that we get to keep the cabin. We are giving it a much needed stain job. The plan is to tear off the siding next spring and start the remodel project. We are going to add on to both ends of the cabin and make it three times bigger than present. The outside will end up with log siding (we think). Sometimes things don't always go as planned so we decided to go ahead and give the cabin a facelift anyway.

Looking good, Thanks for taking time out on your project to help us with ours...
can't believe that we let the cabin get looking so ruff. amazing what 10 gallons of stain will do. i am sure happy that things worked out so we can keep it. the new lot can just sit there and appreciate. maybe we will build on it sometime in the future. it has been so fun to go to the cabin for a few hours at a time and get down and dirty with the stain. all hard work is always worth it. especially when it shows so much. i love working with you at the store and at all our projects. catherine
Glad you're keeping it. I would have felt bad if we wouldn't have been able to see it again. We'll have to go up there when we are there. So are you selling the other lot?
Love that new picture you put at the top. I miss quakies. There aren't any around these parts. Looking forward to seeing you this week.
Thanks for all that you do for Jake and I. Our house is coming along SO well, but only because of your help! Thanks for the words of encouragement too. They mean a lot!

It's not like you don't have any good pictures to blog. Amanda must have taken 100 at the wedding with mom's camera. You'll have to get caught up while you're out here. That is if you have time. I'll have you busy doing my honey do list. Can't wait to have you guys out here. love ya, Audrey
