We love San Rafael

We won't say the project at Amy's got interupted but we got a text from Jordan down on San Rafael saying that he had a flat and his spare (riding on the roof) had the valve stem cracked from the sun and it was flat also. We were planning on going to see the Wedge anyway but he went down earlier with the Heiners. What a beautiful place in our own backyard! Know wonder they call it "Little Grand Canyon"

We love where we Live

Peter and Conover needed to dig almost 60 post holes to fence in some pasture North of the house. They dug and few and dig a great job. It was great for Conover to learn by the sweat of your brow. I decided that it was time for our first of many implements for the Tractor that we loved. We (they dug) all the holes in about an hour and a half. I got a blister.....Think is was leaning on the shovel handle Conover is the Man........Really

Arkansas/Branson Trip

Week took one of our planned trips to Arkansas to see the kids. We look forward to it a couple of times a year. This year the plan was to experince Branson Missouri. It was a great trip. If you looked at Audrey's blog you saw the majority of the pictures but I have to say I was impressed with the Butterfly Palace and watching the kids interact. The Cutiest Butterfly in the Place!! We stayed in a hotel that had its own waterpark. It was great with some bad weather outside. Audrey posted lots of the pictures of this experince but forgot to post this one. When Audrey and Kayla got to the top of the steps she was a little afraid for Kayla. She tried to comfort her. Kayla came flying out with a big smile on her face. This picture is of the Mother following behind. There might have been a smile but it was hard to tell. I am not sure what end came first The Scenic old train ride was also a great experience

Tulum ( For me the Most Spiritual Event)

As we left the bus the Plaza was full of interesting employees Catherine wasn't exactly sure how close she was gong to get. She actually went pretty wide as we were heading on. Once the walk began. It was alway and contest with Diane and Stephen. If you look back on most of the pictures Edie usually took the position that they used to call "Drag" in the cowboy days. She made sure we were all accounted for. The Flowers were really pretty......The one on the right is still the prettiest Flower that I know. Lets see.....Where is my sunglasses? Maybe I left them at the same place I left my razor. Good thing for an understanding Wife. Thanks Hun!

This site is real similar to Solomon's Temple. It had the same number of entrances. All lined up waiting our turn to get through.

Only the High Priests were allowed to have homes inside the walls. Only on High Priest could live in the home. After they died that was it......They were buried under the Altar with their Jade and other items........Kids, Wife, etc. You can see the hole in this house where that was.

We are looking at the Temple and Holy of Holy's. Great view......BTW....This guy was not part of our Book of Mormon Group.

In front of the Temple about 3 O'Clock is the alter wee they did animal sacrifice. As they got more Pegan they would go up the stairs to where they would do the Human Sacrifice.

The three doors on the Top are symbolic of the three degrees of glory. The one on the right and the other on the left were only one room. The one in the middle actually had two room that had the veil in it as a divider.

This is a close up on the engraving overhead of the room. He is upside down, with his feet at the top and Headress on the bottom. He is the white God that came down from Heaven.

The engraving on the right side is of a God right side up on his right side. Now....who could that be? On his left is a cut out without a body in it. Go Figure!!

This is the backside of what was symbolic of the Celestial Kingdom. Notice the hole close to the corner. It had two meanings or purposes. Because of the Coral reef. There was only one way to get in from the coast without crashing your boat. The Spanish had a difficult time. There is another hole on the opposite side on the wall. You had to be able to see both at the same time which would indicate that you were in the position to enter without hitting the Coral Reef. It was also symbolic of the two being necessary (husband and wife) to enter the Celestial Kingdom.

A closer look so that you can see how easy it would be to step to the side and not be able to see the hole. Especially when you are trying to see each side.
